Name: Tifa Lockhart
Canon: Final Fantasy VII (Remake & Rebirth)
Age: 20
Suitability: While Tifa has fought against horrific things including all sorts of monsters (from a giant deadly serpent to a twisted and malformed alien creature) and has even taken on an evil mega-corporation with her chin held high, there is one thing she's canonly been shown to be scared of, and that is... ghosts! So that will make this kind of fun. Despite this fear, she can rally and fight them (she does so in canon in the Train Graveyard section) and she's now also met a sentient race of spirits called the Gi, which has also helped her address her phobia because it's different when the ghost is able to talk and reason. This is still a fear to face and overcome for her, but she'll be able to do it, especially if it's for the sake of helping and protecting others. Any other horrors she'll weather as best she can. She has more than a few insecurities that can be picked on, but despite that, she is shown to be a resilient person. She'll definitely Go Through It with some of the horror elements, but she'll also push through in the end no matter what. She's also good in a team, though I'll address that more below!

Team Suitability: Yes, Tifa is absolutely a team player! As a JRPG party member, she spends the majority of the game(s) as part of a group who are working together toward a common goal despite the fact that some of them bump heads at times. She could be considered the heart of the group, both the moral center and the one who tries to make sure that everyone is okay and that they all get along. It wouldn't be inaccurate to call her the Mom of the group, even though she's only twenty. (She had to grow up fast given what happened to her when she was only fifteen, when she basically lost everything...). She'll do her best to integrate onto her team here as well, and will be focused on checking in on her teammates and making sure they're holding up; that's just her nature.
What kind of team dynamic do you want? Tifa would do great in a variety of groups, based on my answer above! She will try to keep the peace as best she can, even if that means being firm and putting her foot down, but she'd also do great in a ride-or-die ragtag group of heroes or something like that. I really think she'll slot in well anywhere with her whole Team Mom thing she's got going.

Strengths:Insecure - Tifa has a bad habit of tending to overthink just about everything and frequently doubting herself; she's never sure if she's saying or doing the right thing, and as a result she comes across as reserved and unsure of her own emotions. People pleaser - She often can't stop herself from wanting to make sure that everyone likes her and that she is palatable to people, which is something she even outwardly acknowledges she doesn't like about herself, but she also can't seem to help it. Bottles things up - Even though she will always make a point of looking out for others, that conversely means that she rarely puts herself first and will bite down on her emotions rather than venting them out, which has even led to her withholding important information (again, out of uncertainty/insecurity/fear).
Kind & nurturing - Despite her young age and everything she's been through, Tifa is nurturing person who is always looking out for others, whether it's supporting Cloud as he loses his grip on reality (even after he lashed out at her), treating everyone in Sector 7 like her close neighbors, or even running her bar and providing hospitality to its patrons (including Marlene, who Tifa is sort of an aunt to). Hard-working - Tifa has a tendency to push herself to do her best at anything she dedicates herself to, whether it's the training she did to hone her body and learn martial arts under Zangan's teachings or putting her all into the long hours she had to work to try and get out of debt when first arriving Midgar. Resilient - Tifa has been through a lot, having lost her hometown and almost everyone she knew at fifteen, then waking post-surgery (because she took a slash from a super-soldier's massive sword straight to the chest) in an unknown city and having to learn how to make it on her own, but she perseveres and gets through it all the same, even if she might stumble here or there.
